Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rafael Sorali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robbin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Gracie's choice of entrance music: Nervecell - Psychogenocide. Rafael Sorali could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Robbin Gracie's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorali misses with a straight right.

and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Sorali keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully.
Sorali could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Sorali wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Sorali is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sorali manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Sorali's guard.

Gracie tries to advance to mount but Sorali denies him.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Sorali is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie.

Sorali wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Gracie.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Robbin Gracie dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That kick from Gracie tenderised Sorali's leg. Sorali is trying to keep his angry face on.

Sorali shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Sorali throws a hook to the side of Gracie's head but Gracie sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Sorali wants to slow Gracie down by chopping away at his legs.

Gracie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Sorali working hard to break the clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Gracie takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Sorali is trying to break the clinch but Gracie is controlling him.
Gracie struggles to land a body shot inside as Sorali controls his hands.

Sorali wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sorali looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Gracie is trying to drag Sorali to the mat but Sorali just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Sorali has had enough of the clinch but Gracie keeps him there for the moment.

Gracie drags the fight down to the ground.
Sorali might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Gracie has Sorali pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Rafael Sorali.
Gracie tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Sorali manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Gracie moves in looking to clinch but Sorali pushes him off.

Gracie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Sorali's half guard.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Sorali defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Sorali is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!
