Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Dragunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugh G Rection (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dragunov kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Soviet National Anthem. Rection has chosen Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth as his entrance music. Hugh G Rection has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragunov misses with a body kick.
Rection lands a nice shot to the body.
Rection uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dragunov.
Dragunov with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Rection shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Maxim Dragunov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rection takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Hugh G Rection has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dragunov.
Rection pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Dragunov cracks Rection with a right hand to the side of the head.
Dragunov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

That has opened up Hugh G Rection's cut even more.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dragunov. Rection does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dragunov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dragunov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rection looks gassed!
Dragunov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rection on the side of the head.
A jab from Dragunov does it's job there.

The cut above Hugh G Rection's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Dragunov lands a nice looking kick to the body. Rection takes a step back to recover.
Dragunov thumps Rection with a low kick.
Rection on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Dragunov.

Dragunov cracks Rection with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Rection looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Dragunov finish him?

Rection is rocked!
Nice body punch from Dragunov.
Dragunov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dragunov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dragunov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rection avoids the head kick by Dragunov.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rection. Dragunov does a little dance to reset his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rection takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Hugh G Rection's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugh G Rection's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
