Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Vieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Monster by Skillet. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vieri ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Vieri avoids it really well and circles away.

Christian Vieri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vieri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Browns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Brown throws a hook to the side of Vieri's head but Vieri sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Vieri tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vieri comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brown is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Brown fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vieri to the ground. Brown is now in Vieri's guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Monty Brown will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
