Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Massive Attack - Teardrop. Summers has chosen Show Me The Way as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Nathan Summers enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Summers!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Summers.
Summers lands a really nice looking cross but Anderson seems unphased.
Summers moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Summers looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Summers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Anderson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Summers scores with a body shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Summers misses with a low kick.
Anderson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Summers clobbers Anderson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Summers slips a straight right by Anderson.
Some bone on bone action there as Anderson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Summers scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Horrible takedown by Anderson or perhaps it was just good defense by Summers which made him look bad.
Summers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Summers throws a leg kick but Anderson moved away.
Summers punishes Anderson's body with a nice straight punch.

Summers scores with a jab to the jaw.

and Anderson counters with an outside leg kick.
Summers ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Anderson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Summers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Summers lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Summers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Summers scores with a nice strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anderson ducks right into an uppercut from Summers.
The fight stays on the outside here - Anderson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Summers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Summers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Anderson on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Summers walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Anderson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Summers stuffs the takedown attempt from Anderson. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Summers misses with a series of wild punches.
Anderson shoots in but Summers avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Summers lands with a cross.
A slow jab from Anderson misses its intended target.
Summers thows a body shot but no joy.
Nathan Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Summers throws a combination. Anderson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Summers connects with a leg kick. Anderson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Summers throws a shot to the body.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Summers changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Anderson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Anderson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Summers scores with a jab to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Summers. That's going to slow Anderson down.
Summers fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oooooh!!! Summers has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Summers steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like James Anderson has been cut.
Summers fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oh Anderson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Summers fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Anderson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Summers walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Anderson drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Summers swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Anderson's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Summers!
Nathan Summers decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
