Horrible takedown by Mangetesmorts or perhaps it was just good defense by Birchum which made him look bad.
Birchum digs a good body shot into Mangetesmorts's ribs.

Mangetesmorts changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Birchum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ground and pound from Mangetesmorts seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Birchum wants to control but Mangetesmorts postures up.

Mangetesmorts is working to tighten is grip on Birchum's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Birchum has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mangetesmorts is really squeezing tight and eventually Birchum passes out! Mangetesmorts breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
