Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Says (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Till I collapse. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bill looks for a takedown but Says sprawls well.
Says dodges the punch combination from Bill.
Says tries to clinch but Bill is having none of it.

Says rushes Bill and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bill wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bill is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Bill takes a knee to the side of the body.
Says has Bill pressed against the cage, preventing Bill from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Says lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Sonny Bill has been cut.
Bill wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Says working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bill doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bill manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Says has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bill off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bill throws a series of punches but Says moves out of range.
Says tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bill manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Says takes the fight into the clinch.
Bill has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Says has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bill uses from the top position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bill got a little sloppy there for a moment and Says has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bill has managed to get both his arms back between Says's legs - danger averted.

Says has his foot on Bill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bill works his way back into a safe position though.

Says tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bill paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Says lands a good knee to the midsection. Bill won't want to take too many of those.

Says had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bill defends it easily.

Says is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Says on the ground.

Well Says has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
