Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Rickardson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Best (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Best has chosen Party Rock Anthem as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Randy Best!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Best throws a right hand that Rickardson ducks under and follows up with a left that Rickardson also avoids with ease.
Best misses with a two punch combination.
Best tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rickardson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Best is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Best throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rickardson has managed to clinch.
Best tries to pull guard but Rickardson forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Best got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rickardson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Best has managed to get both his arms back between Rickardson's legs - danger averted.

Randy Best comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Best has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
