The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suzuki connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Filipovic has Suzuki pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Filipovic pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Suzuki tumbling to the mat - Filipovic dives into Suzuki's guard.

Suzuki had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Filipovic is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Suzuki Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Filipovic's back instead.
