Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carl Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Allen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Dave Allen looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Carl Wade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Allen!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade has closed the distance and engaged Allen in a clinch.
Allen looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Allen prevents the takedown attempt.
Allen is pressed up against the cage. Wade has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Allen down to the mat. Allen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wade tries to clinch but Allen is having none of it.
Wade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Allen defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carl Wade. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wade clinches with his opponent.
Wade is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Allen is defending well.
Allen gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Wade has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Allen avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Wade tightens his grip and picks Allen up, before dumping him to the ground. Allen manages to land in guard.
Wade gets to his feet. Allen looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Allen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wade instigates a clinch.
Wade drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wade is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Allen pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wade tries for a takedown. No joy.
Allen manages to break the clinch.
Wade shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Allen sprawls well. Allen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wade gets slowly back to his feet.
Allen leaves Wade with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Allen's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Allen duly obliges.
Allen drives through and clinches with Wade against the cage.
Wade gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen is in trouble now - Wade has advanced to mount!
Wade trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Allen tries to reverse the position but Wade maintains control.
Wade controlling from the full mount.
Wade get's back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wade misses with the combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wade.
Allen fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wade moves in looking to clinch but Allen pushes him off.
Wade closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Allen's guard.
Wade trying to control the position from guard on top but Allen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Allen controls Wade momentarily but Wade frees himself.
Wade controlling from the top position.
Wade's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Carl Wade has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Wade fails in his attempt to clinch.
Allen avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wade shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wade trying to control the pace.
Wade passes to full mount!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carl Wade dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wade scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Wade passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Allen!
Wade takes Allen's back.
Wade biding his time, looking for the opening.
Wade working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Wade trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wade is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Allen with him. Allen is trying to defend but Wade has an arm under the chin now! Allen grimaces and is forced to tap out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Carl Wade!
