Uusisto comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - B.Y.O.B.. Makkonen has chosen Metsämiehen Laulu as his entrance music. Jurmas Uusisto is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jurmas Uusisto!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Aulis Makkonen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makkonen throws a series of punches but Uusisto avoids them all with ease.
Makkonen connects with an inside leg kick.
Makkonen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uusisto.
Uusisto swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Uusisto avoids a kick to the body.
Makkonen rushes Uusisto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Uusisto lands a nice uppercut.
Uusisto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Makkonen tries a body shot but Uusisto blocks it.
Makkonen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Uusisto.
Uusisto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Makkonen is looking to control Uusisto's arms but Uusisto gets an underhook and turns him. Now Makkonen has his back to the cage.
Makkonen is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Uusisto has denied him.
Uusisto digs a right hand into Makkonen's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Makkonen's gas tank.

A bit of stalling here from Uusisto.
Uusisto is trying to push Makkonen away but Makkonen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Uusisto lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Uusisto lands a nice uppercut.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Uusisto as Makkonen tries to tie him up.
Uusisto scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Uusisto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Uusisto will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
No joy there for Uusisto, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Uusisto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makkonen counters with a left and a right that stings Uusisto.
Uusisto misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
The fighters circle momentarily. Makkonen darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Makkonen misses with a wild body shot.
A clash of legs there as Makkonen blocks the low kick.
Uusisto avoids the head kick by Makkonen.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Uusisto moves out of range as Makkonen throws a body kick.
Uusisto misses with a looping right.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uusisto throws out a powerful jab.
It looks like Aulis Makkonen has been cut.
Uusisto showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Makkonen.
Makkonen lands a head kick!
Uusisto is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Makkonen like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Makkonen from another fist facial!
