Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Huge Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kung Fu Fighting. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balls misses with a jab, cross combination.
Balls throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Benton counters with a single leg into guard. Balls didn't expect that.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Benton throws an elbow that misses. Balls uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Benton's guard. Nice move by Balls!

Benton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Balls escapes and throws Benton's legs to the side, diving into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Balls really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Balls uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Benton has time to react.
Benton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Balls paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Balls throws a hook to the side of Benton's head but Benton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A solid body kick from Benton.
Benton throws a low kick, looking for Balls's leg but Balls calmly moves out of range.
Benton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Benton shoots in and drives through. Balls sprawls well.
Balls on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Benton dodges the punch combination from Balls.

Benton throws a push kick but Balls slaps the foot to one side.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Benton seems to be working for a kimura but Balls defends the submission attempt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Balls is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
