The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Funke bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Subb is looking to reverse the position.
Funke working away.
Subb is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Funke's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Subb tries to roll over but Funke keeps him under control.
Funke trying to pass the guard but Subb defending well.

Subb escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Funke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Funke wants to control from the top but Subb keeps moving.
Funke stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Subb swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Subb is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Subb working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Funke doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Subb is tightening it up a little... Funke has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Funke reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Funke taps out! nice BJJ there by Subb!
