The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake circles away from the clinch attempt.
Klitschko takes a swing at Snake's ribcage but misses.
Klitschko shoots in but no luck this time.
Snake misses with a series of wild punches.

and Snake counters with a single leg into guard. Klitschko didn't expect that.

Klitschko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Snake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Snake is trying to get an arm triangle but Klitschko is defending well.

Snake is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Klitschko knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Snake wants to lay and pray for a moment but Klitschko keeps working.

Snake has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Klitschko!

Snake has hold of Klitschko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Klitschko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Klitschko can do anything to dispel that myth.

Snake with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Snake swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Klitschko is now in Snake's guard. A big mistake from Snake there, giving up the dominant position!
