Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Robles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Robles's choice of entrance music: THE FINAL COUNT DOWN. Adrian Robles is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adrian Robles!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robles gets the takedown into side control.
Jack tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Robles wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Jack throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land.
Jack wants to get back to his feet but Robles drags him back down.
Jack is looking to reverse the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jack is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Robles is controlling him well.
Robles in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Jack throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Robles happy to just control the position for now.
Jack manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Robles is staying active underneath Jack, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Jack throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Jack is keen to just control but Robles is a slippery customer.

Jack is working for a submission of some sort.
Robles trying to hold on to Jack's head to control him but Jack postures up.

Jack slows the pace down in half guard.
Robles looks gassed!
Jack wants to take a breather but Robles is having none of it.
Jack is stalling here. Robles is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jack seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Robles has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Jack is trying to improve his position.
Jack is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jack is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Robles pulls his head out easily.
Robles throwing shots but Jack is blocking nicely.
Jack tries to roll over but Robles keeps him under control.
Jack works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jack striking off his back but it's not causing Robles any problems.

Jack manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Jack fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Jack tries to score a power double leg takedown but Robles sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jack somewhat.
Jack tries to clinch but Robles moves out of range.

Jack tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Robles leaves Jack with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jack is defended easily by Robles.

Jack shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jack was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robles as he jumps to the side.
Jack closes the distance but Robles moves to the side
and Robles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Robles's waist but Robles gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jack off to one side.
Jack tries to clinch up but Robles circles away and keeps his distance.
Robles shoots in for a double leg but Jack sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Horrible takedown by Jack or perhaps it was just good defense by Robles which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jack is looking to clinch but Robles is avoiding it.
Jack fails in his attempt to clinch.
Robles is breathing heavily.
Jack tries to clinch but Robles is having none of it.
Robles shoots in for a takedown but Jack shows good takedown defense.

Jack throws a head kick but Robles moves out of range.

Jack closes the distance and pushes Robles back into the cage.
Jack fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Robles can't get the takedown.

Jack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jack tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Robles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jack shoots for a double leg takedown but Robles sprawls well. He's pushed Jack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jack has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jack lands a left hand that snaps the head of Robles backwards.
Jack fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Jack is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Robles pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Jack really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jack is trying to pull guard but Robles has him pressed against the cage.

Jack pulls guard.
Jack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Nick Jack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Jack throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jack wants to stand and escape but Robles is having none of it.
Jack keeping moving, preventing Robles from controlling successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jack has his foot on Robles's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robles works his way back into a safe position though.

Jack wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Robles is now in half guard.
Jack is trying to stand.
Robles trying to control from half guard but Jack is working away.
Jack wants to control but Robles is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Jack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Robles manages to get himself to full guard.
Jack wants to control from the top but Robles keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Robles has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jack can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jack is defended easily by Robles.
Jack is looking to clinch but Robles is avoiding it.
Robles misses with a wild combination.
Robles loads up on a big right hand but Jack slips the punch.
Robles takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Robles throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jack wants to clinch.
Jack goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jack shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Robles defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jack.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nick Jack. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jack connects with an inside leg kick.
Horrible takedown by Jack or perhaps it was just good defense by Robles which made him look bad.
Jack is looking to clinch.

Jack clinches up with Robles and pushes him back against the cage.
Jack swings wildly with an uppercut but Robles uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nick Jack is winning the standup battle so far.
Jack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jack scores with a head kick. Robles tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Jack closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Robles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jack is working away from the top position though.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Nick Jack.
Jack scores with a nice head shot.
Jack fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Robles shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jack's guard.
Robles is pushing down on Jack's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jack is fighting to maintain full guard but Robles has managed to sneak the leg through.
Robles tries to pass to full mount but Jack defends it.
Jack is refusing to be controlled, as Robles sits in half guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jack regains full guard. Nicely done.

Nick Jack showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Jack has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
