Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kryllum Skullfly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Big (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kryllum Skullfly has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Kryllum Skullfly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Big!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Big tries to clinch up.
Skullfly tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Big manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Big throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Big misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Skullfly counters with a crisp one two that drops Big! Skullfly thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Big to his feet! Big is in big trouble!

Skullfly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.


Big is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Skullfly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Skullfly manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Big on his heels. He'll look to pass Big's guard now, I'm sure.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Kevin Big wasn't active enough on the ground.

Big pushes Skullfly up against the cage in a clinch.
Skullfly trying to stall but Big improves his position.

Skullfly is fighting off a takedown attempt but Big is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Skullfly to the mat. Skullfly regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Big wants to control from the top but Skullfly keeps moving.
Big pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Skullfly is keeping the position for now.
Skullfly controls Big momentarily but Big frees himself.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Big lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Skullfly knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Big on the ground.

Skullfly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Big is aware though and is defending well.

Big is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Big scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Big scoring with punches to the head and body.
Big slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Big stands up and waves to Skullfly to follow him.

Big takes the fight into the clinch.

Skullfly is fighting off a takedown attempt but Big is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Skullfly to the mat. Skullfly regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Big wants to control from the top but Skullfly keeps moving.
Skullfly is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Skullfly is breathing heavily.
Skullfly keeping moving, preventing Big from controlling successfully.
Big advances to half guard.
Skullfly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Big takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Big wants to lay and pray for a moment but Skullfly keeps working.
Big trying to control the pace.
This has been an exciting period of action!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Skullfly trying to control from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Skullfly shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Big has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Big dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Big looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Skullfly tries to clinch up but Big circles away and keeps his distance.
Big avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Big fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Skullfly counters with a nice kick to the body.

Big shoots in looking for a takedown but Skullfly manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Big's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Skullfly fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Big to the ground. Skullfly is now in Big's guard.
Big is breathing heavily.
Skullfly won't allow Big to sweep him here.
Kevin Big has got the better of the ground game so far.
Skullfly has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Big is proving hard to escape from.

Big manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Skullfly keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Skullfly tries to hold on but Big pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Big cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Skullfly on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Skullfly tries to get out of the position.

Skullfly in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Skullfly tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Big scoring with strikes but Skullfly is staying in there.
Big raining down hammerfists from mount.
Big has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Big pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Big wants to control the pace but Skullfly is squirming around nicely.

Skullfly is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Big locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Skullfly is forced to tap!

Kevin Big decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
