The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kifo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Gohan throws a body punch but Kifo moves out of range.
Kifo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Gohan lands a nice hook to Kifo's body. Kifo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Kifo looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Gohan!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Kifo looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Kifo is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Gohan throws a right hand that Kifo ducks under and follows up with a left that Kifo also avoids with ease.
A combination from Gohan does no damage.
Kifo gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gohan.
Gohan thows a body shot but no joy.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Kifo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gohan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kifo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gohan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Kifo looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Kifo is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gohan is trying to escape and Kifo transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gohan is forced to tap! Nice work there by Kifo! Very nice indeed!
