The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stolbov shoots in for a takedown but Larson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stolbov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Larson's waist but Larson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stolbov off to one side.
Larson scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
That kick from Larson tenderised Stolbov's leg. Stolbov is trying to keep his angry face on.

Stolbov drives through and clinches with Larson against the cage.
Stolbov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Larson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Brett Larson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Stolbov.
Stolbov jumps guard but Larson stands there with Stolbov around his waist. Stolbov gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
