Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexandre Angelim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guzis Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelim tries to clinch but Nunes moves out of range.
Angelim closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nunes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Angelim won't be happy with that.
Angelim wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Angelim wants to control but Nunes postures up.
Nunes in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Nunes cracks Angelim with a big elbow.
Angelim gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Angelim wants to control but Nunes is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Well, if Nunes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Angelim is looking to control Nunes's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Angelim avoid being mounted?
Nunes tries to pass to full mount but Angelim defends it.
Nunes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Angelim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Nunes is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Nunes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Angelim gets full guard.
Angelim can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nunes controls the pace.
Nunes trying to control the position from guard on top but Angelim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Nunes in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Angelim wants to sweep but no luck.
Nunes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Angelim is keeping the position for now.
Angelim is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Angelim closes the distance looking to clinch
and Nunes counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Angelim's guard now.
Angelim could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Angelim wants to get back to his feet but Nunes is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Angelim controls Nunes momentarily but Nunes frees himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nunes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Angelim wants to stand and escape but Nunes is having none of it.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nunes throwing strikes but missing.
Angelim has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nunes is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Angelim.
Angelim is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Nunes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Guzis Nunes dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nunes has a takedown stuffed.
Angelim tries to clinch
and Nunes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Angelim might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nunes pushes down on Angelim's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Angelim has one foot on Nunes's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Alexandre Angelim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nunes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Angelim sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nunes somewhat.
Horrible takedown by Nunes or perhaps it was just good defense by Angelim which made him look bad.
Alexandre Angelim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guzis Nunes.
Nunes feints and as Angelim raises his hands in defense, Nunes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Nunes is breathing heavily.
Angelim is trying to control the position but Nunes postures up.
Nunes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Nunes wants to pass the guard but Angelim is keeping the position.
Angelim wants to stand but Nunes is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Nunes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Angelim, pushing him back against the cage.
Nunes has hold of one of Angelim's legs. Angelim is fighting the takedown attempt but Nunes gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Guzis Nunes has got the better of the ground game so far.

Angelim is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nunes is aware though and is defending well.
Angelim is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Nunes is controlling him.

Angelim manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nunes tries to pull guard but Angelim holds him up against the cage and eventually Nunes drops back down to his feet.

Nunes is trying to maintain a safe position but Angelim gets an underhook and turns Nunes into the cage.
Angelim prevents Nunes from breaking the clinch.
Angelim content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Nunes gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Angelim is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Nunes's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Nunes's back!
Nunes defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Angelim's arms.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Angelim has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Nunes is in real trouble here. Angelim gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Nunes is tapping out! Angelim wins by rear naked choke!
