PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Isac Chaves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arcturus Balfour (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaves throws a nice looking combination but Balfour bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Chaves dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Balfour throws a shot from downtown. Chaves moves away and avoids it.
No joy there for Balfour, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Balfour connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Chaves's hands.
Decent striking displayed by Chaves there.
Chaves fails to land with a series of punches.
Chaves will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Chaves misses with a body shot.
Chaves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balfour circles away quickly and effectively.
Chaves throws a right hand that Balfour ducks under and follows up with a left that Balfour also avoids with ease.
A left and a right from Chaves both land. Nice combination.
Chaves rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Balfour moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Chaves misses with the combination.
Chaves misses with a looping right.
Balfour keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chaves smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Balfour uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chaves.
A jab from Balfour does it's job there.
Balfour fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Chaves misses with a series of wild punches.
Balfour digs a good body shot into Chaves's ribs.
Balfour feints a jab promting Chaves to slip. Balfour then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Chaves slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Chaves lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Balfour circles away quickly and effectively.
Chaves is breathing heavily.
Chaves thows a body shot but no joy.
Isac Chaves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chaves misses with a two punch combination.
Balfour keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Chaves.
Good shot there by Balfour.
Chaves throws a right and a left that Balfour avoids nicely.
Balfour scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chaves doesn't seem bothered though.

Chaves is looking to wear down Balfour with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Chaves throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Balfour.

Balfour lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Balfour plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Chaves to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Chaves just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
