Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Marsh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh shoots in but Peters avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Marsh clinches up against the cage.

Peters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marsh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Marsh stuffs the takedown.

Marsh has closed the distance and engaged Peters in a clinch.

Marsh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marsh.
Marsh throws a sloppy head kick and Peters moves out of range easily.
Peters connects with a single shot there.
Peters connects with a leg kick. Marsh looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Peters pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Marsh closes the distance and clinches.
Marsh prevents Peters from breaking the clinch.
Marsh will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Peters up against the cage.

Marsh is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Peters is defending well.
James Peters has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Randy Marsh.
Marsh stalling in the clinch.
Peters on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Marsh is pushing Peters up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Marsh shoots for a double leg takedown but Peters sprawls well. He's pushed Marsh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Peters closes the distance and clinches up with Marsh, looking for a takedown. Peters pushes Marsh against the cage but Marsh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Peters lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Peters.
Peters throws a sloppy head kick and Marsh moves out of range easily.
Marsh stalks Peters and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Peters's face. Peters staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Peters misses with a few strikes there.
Marsh throws a low kick, looking for Peters's leg but Peters calmly moves out of range.
Marsh is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Peters.
Marsh moves in looking to clinch but Peters pushes him off.
Marsh throws a right and a left that Peters avoids nicely.
Marsh looks gassed!
Marsh looks for a takedown but Peters sprawls well.
Left hook, right uppercut from Peters.
Peters shoots for a takedown but Marsh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Marsh doesn't manage to clinch there - Peters circles away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marsh dives in and grabs Peters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peters pushes down on Marsh's head and hops out.
Peters moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Marsh keeps the fight on the outside.
Peters misses with a two punch combination.
Peters with a jab.
Marsh throws out a loose jab but Peters uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marsh fails with an attempt to clinch.

Marsh fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Peters, pushing him back against the cage.
Peters looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Marsh lands with a right to the head.
Peters misses with a short punch on the inside.
Marsh is working for takedown but Peters is calmly controlling the position for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Peters wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Peters is trying to force a seperation but Marsh has the dominant position.
Marsh stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Peters throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Marsh escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A left and a right from Peters both land. Nice combination.
Peters throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Marsh keeps the fight on the outside.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Peters swats away the attempt to clinch by Marsh.
Peters fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Marsh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Peters but Peters pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Peters uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Marsh has time to react.
Peters circles away from the clinch attempt.

Peters tries to close the distance and clinch but Marsh swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Peters misses with a two punch combination.
Peters misses with a jab, cross combination.
Marsh lands with a hook. Peters tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Marsh lands a two punch combo.
Peters wants to slow Marsh down by chopping away at his legs.

Peters forces Marsh back against the cage and clinches.
Peters looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Peters is looking to break free of the clinch but Marsh has double underhooks.
Peters drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Marsh is looking to take this one to the mat.
Marsh misses with a knee to the head.
Peters blocks an elbow strike.
Peters is working for takedown but Marsh is calmly controlling the position for now.

Peters wants to take the fight to the mat but Marsh manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Marsh tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Peters smiles and moves away.
Peters looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Marsh has Peters up against the cage in a clinch.
Marsh is trying desperately to land a takedown but Peters is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Marsh.

Peters tries to break free but Marsh pushes him back against the cage.

Marsh is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Peters to keep the fight standing.
Peters wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Marsh has him pressed against the cage.
Marsh has Peters pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Peters manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Marsh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Peters breaks from the clinch.
Peters tries to clinch there but Marsh circles away.
Marsh dodges the punch combination from Peters.
Marsh keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peters.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Marsh dives in and grabs Peters's left leg, looking for a takedown. Peters pushes down on Marsh's head and hops out.
Peters misses with a head kick.

Marsh pushes Peters up against the cage in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Marsh is still on wobbly legs! Can Peters finish him?
Peters lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Marsh backs up against the cage.
Marsh finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Peters's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Marsh falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Peters!
