Xiii comes to the cage accompanied by Tenacious D - Master Exploder. Wedge Xiii could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Felipe Silva's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiii shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Xiii showed some decent athleticism there.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Xiii wants to advance to full mount but Silva doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Silva pulls Xiii in close to prevent any damage.

Xiii gets to his feet and stands over Silva, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Silva felt that one! Xiii unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Silva from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wedge Xiii!
After winning the bout, Wedge Xiii thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
