Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dan Hanson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan James!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James tries to keep at a distance but Hanson has taken the fight into the clinch.
James jumps guard but Hanson turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
James tries to pull guard but Hanson won't allow it.
Hanson stops a takedown attempt from James.
Dan Hanson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan James.
James tries for a takedown but Hanson manages to get underhooks.

Hanson pulls James into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
James scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
James throws and elbow that misses. Hanson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in James's guard. Nice move by Hanson!

James working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hanson has passed into half guard!

James looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Hanson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hanson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
James moves into full guard.

James working for a triangle but Hanson defends it easily.
Hanson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.

James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hanson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hanson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hanson stands up over James, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

James throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

James is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hanson is aware though and is defending well.
James lands a decent shot there.
Hanson cracks James with a solid left hand.
Hanson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Hanson slips nicely into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hanson lands a nice short elbow.
James should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

James tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hanson wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Check out the look on Hanson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
James tries to buck Hanson off but Hanson is having none of it.
James looks to move to half guard but instead Hanson has passed into mount! Damn!
Hanson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
BOOM! Hanson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Hanson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
James is trying to escape the mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dan Hanson dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Hanson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. James quickly recovers to half guard.
Hanson wants to free his trapped foot but James is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hanson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from James.
James is looking for a sweep.
Hanson has knee on belly and moves into mount.

James sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

James is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hanson pulls his head out easily.

Hanson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
James is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hanson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so James is just riding it out for now. Hanson eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hanson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
James manages to get to full guard.
James bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hanson's guard.

Dan Hanson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

James stands up over Hanson, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hanson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
James keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hanson's head.

James lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hanson can't keep his opponent in guard - James advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hanson tries to get to full guard but James has control of the leg.
This has been an exciting period of action!

James is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hanson is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dylan James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Hanson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
James moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Hanson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as James works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hanson is posturing up here but James has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hanson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hanson has to tap! Slick submission there by James!
