Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ville Kuukkeli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuukkeli is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by a-ha - Take On Me. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ville Kuukkeli!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnem�ki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuukkeli falls off balance throwing a combination
and Duran counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Duran pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Duran scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kuukkeli ducks under a wild hook from Duran.
No luck for Kuukkeli with that takedown attempt.
Duran misses with a straight left.
Kuukkeli throws a right and a left that Duran avoids nicely.
Kuukkeli throws a series of punches but Duran avoids them all with ease.
Duran pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kuukkeli connects with a crisp jab.
Duran scores with a jab. Kuukkeli acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kuukkeli changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duran tries to avoid it but Kuukkeli manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duran to the ground. Duran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Duran lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kuukkeli misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Duran.
Duran throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kuukkeli stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Kuukkeli drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Kuukkeli is rocked!
Duran explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kuukkeli is still on wobbly legs! Can Duran finish him?
Duran ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kuukkeli looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duran throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Duran changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Kuukkeli seems to have recovered his senses.
A slow jab from Duran misses its intended target.
Duran connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kuukkeli takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Duran throws a monster overhand right that drops Kuukkeli! Duran follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calvin Duran!
