Hart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Almeta.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Almeta drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hart gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Almeta jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hart walks away with a smile on his face. Almeta gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Jared Hart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Almeta misses with a wild combination.
Almeta shoots in looking for a takedown but Hart manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Almeta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Almeta looks gassed!
Hart swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hart avoids the head kick by Almeta.

Almeta closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Almeta tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hart just stands there and leans against the cage.
Almeta drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hart pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hart leaves Almeta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Almeta tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Almeta shoots in but Hart avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Almeta closes the distance and clinches up with Hart, looking for a takedown. Almeta pushes Hart against the cage but Hart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Almeta shoots in but Hart avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Almeta throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Almeta is breathing heavily.

Almeta shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hart as he jumps to the side.
Hart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Almeta.

Oooooh!!! Hart has knocked Almeta down with a huge combo! Hart steps away and waves a wobbly Almeta back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Almeta is rocked!

It looks like John Almeta has been cut.
Hart throws a right and a left that Almeta avoids nicely.
Almeta is still on wobbly legs! Can Hart finish him?
Hart rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Almeta moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Almeta seems to have recovered his senses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hart is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Hart shuts the power down on Almeta. Lights out, game over! Hart is your winner.
