Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Robert Langdon!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langdon fails with a takedown attempt.
Eberle takes a swing at Langdon's ribcage but misses.
Eberle throws out a leg kick but Langdon moves out of range and Eberle only half commits.
Jordan Eberle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eberle lands a right hook to the body.
Langdon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eberle scores with a nice strike.
Eberle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Eberle wants it to stay on the feet.
Jordan Eberle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Langdon.
The fighters circle momentarily. Eberle darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Eberle throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Langdon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Eberle throws a nice inside leg kick.
Eberle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Langdon takes one on the button.
Langdon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eberle sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Langdon looks for a takedown but Eberle sprawls well.
Eberle misses with a straight right.
Langdon needs to keep his hands up - Eberle had a free shot at his head there.
Langdon tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Langdon drives through with a takedown into guard.
Eberle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eberle tries to get out of the position.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Langdon wants to pass the guard but Eberle is keeping the position.
Langdon stands and throws Eberle's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Eberle tries to improve position but can't.

Eberle is not content to let Langdon control the position.
Langdon tries to move to mount but Eberle blocks the move with his legs.
The ground and pound from Langdon seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Eberle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Langdon on the ground.
Eberle stops Langdon from passing to mount.
Langdon passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Eberle!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Langdon trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Langdon thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Langdon scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Eberle tries to hold on but Langdon postures up.
Langdon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Langdon lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Langdon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Langdon connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Langdon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Eberle is looking to escape.

Langdon lands a big shot to the head and Eberle winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
