Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Nassoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darren Barrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darren Barrow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barrow throws a series of strikes that have Nassoon backpedaling.
Nassoon misses with a body shot.
Barrow shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Nassoon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nassoon tries to get out of the position.
Barrow blocks the strikes from Nassoon.
Nassoon is trying to get back to full guard.
Nassoon is refusing to be controlled, as Barrow sits in half guard.
Nassoon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Barrow is working for a kimura but Nassoon is defending it quite comfortably.

Barrow uses his free foot to push down on Nassoon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nassoon.

Barrow changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nassoon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Barrow wants to stand but Nassoon is controlling his arm.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nassoon is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Barrow wants to take a breather but Nassoon is having none of it.
Darren Barrow has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Barrow shoots in looking for a takedown. Nassoon tries to sprawl out of it but Barrow keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nassoon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Barrow tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nassoon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barrow somewhat.

Nassoon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Barrow tries for a takedown but Nassoon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Nassoon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Nassoon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Barrow to his feet.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nassoon holds on and takes a little breather.

Barrow drops back looking for a leg! Nassoon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nassoon manages to kick Barrow off! Barrow jumps back into Nassoon's guard.
Nassoon is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Barrow defends well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Barrow wanted to stand there but Nassoon had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jerry Nassoon will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Barrow shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Nassoon but Nassoon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nassoon dives in and scores a takedown into Barrow's guard.
Nassoon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barrow on the ground.
Barrow throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Barrow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nassoon manages to get himself to full guard.
Nassoon has control of Barrow's left arm, preventing Barrow from doing any damage.

Barrow got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nassoon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Barrow has managed to get both his arms back between Nassoon's legs - danger averted.

Nassoon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Nassoon is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Nassoon closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Nassoon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barrow manages to avoid it.
Barrow gets tackled into the cage by Nassoon. Nassoon maintains the clinch.

Barrow has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Nassoon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Nassoon looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Barrow has picked Nassoon up and slammed him! Nassoon can't keep hold of the triangle and Barrow manages to pass to side control!
Barrow decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Barrow shoots in looking for a takedown but Nassoon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Barrow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Barrow throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Nassoon clinches.
Barrow is trying to pull guard but Nassoon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Barrow goes for a takedown in the clinch but Nassoon prevents it.
Nassoon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barrow is looking to control Nassoon but Nassoon is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Nassoon tries to escape but Barrow has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Barrow is cranking Nassoon's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Nassoon! He's tightened the choke and Nassoon is tapping out!
