Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Devin Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devin Couture could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jon Head's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Head closes the distance and clinches.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Couture tries to score a body lock takedown but Head shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Head misses with a knee strike.

Couture is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Head can't fight it off and eventually Couture manages to take the fight to the floor. Head looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Couture throws a big elbow that misses.

Head stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Couture swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Couture has hold of Head's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Head manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Couture is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Head is just riding it out for now. Couture eventually gives up the hold.

Couture is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Head pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Head tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Couture's elbow.

A close second round but Jon Head will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
