Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Williams. Williams gets slowly back to his feet.
Williams showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tyson.
Tyson throws a head kick but Williams moves out of range.
Tyson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Williams on the side of the head.
It looks like Phil Williams has been cut.
Williams digs a good hook to Tyson's body.
Williams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Williams wants to work for an arm triangle but Tyson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Williams will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tyson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tyson.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well.
Tyson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Tyson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Williams defends well.
Williams lands a couple of elbows.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Williams is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tyson looking for a guillotine here but Williams defends easily.
Tyson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Williams postures up in Tyson's guard and throws a big left but Tyson blocks it.
Tyson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Williams can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tyson looks gassed!
Williams avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Williams works over Tyson with some ground and pound from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Williams drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Williams as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Tyson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Williams! Nice submission victory there!
