Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between not sure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baker has chosen The Duck Song as his entrance music. Jake Baker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sure tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
sure looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
sure stopping the sweep attempt from Baker.
Baker trying to control the position.
sure could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Baker utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Baker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
sure has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
sure pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Baker is keeping the position for now.
sure is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Baker holds on and takes a little breather.
sure drops back looking for a leg! Baker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baker manages to kick sure off! sure jumps back into Baker's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Baker stuffs the takedown attempt from sure. sure gets slowly back to his feet.
Baker shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Baker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
sure tries to get to full guard but Baker has control of the leg.
Baker tries to pass the half guard into mount. sure knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
sure has his foot on Baker's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baker works his way back into a safe position though.
sure is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

sure is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Baker defends it well.

That was a close round but I would say that not sure will probably get the nod.
