Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Dibiasse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dibiasse's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cant tell me nuttin. Larson has chosen Sweet Child of Mine as his entrance music. Dan Larson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dan Larson!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Larson there as he acknowledges the shot.
An inside leg kick lands from Dibiasse.
No joy there for Larson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Larson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Dibiasse counters with a nice uppercut.
Dibiasse bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Larson's head backwards.
Larson misses with a wild combination.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dibiasse lands a nice leg kick that just misses Larson's sensitive parts.

Larson misses with a straight right.
Dibiasse lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Larson throws a solid leg kick but Dibiasse takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Larson.

Dibiasse has managed to clinch.
Dibiasse lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Dibiasse scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Larson working hard to break the clinch.
Larson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Dibiasse drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Larson is trying to break the clinch but Dibiasse has him pressed against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Dibiasse fails to land.
Larson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Larson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Larson wants to stand but Dibiasse is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dibiasse seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Dibiasse pulls Larson in close to prevent any damage.

Ted Dibiasse has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A telegraphed right hand from Larson misses the target.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
No joy there for Larson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Dibiasse, right into the meat.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Dibiasse looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Larson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dibiasse thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Larson's head.
Larson is not content to let Dibiasse control the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ted Dibiasse.
Larson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dibiasse looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Dibiasse looks to land a left hand but Larson moved out of range nicely.

Dibiasse fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Larson, pushing him back against the cage.
Larson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dibiasse swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Dibiasse is struggling to control the position.
Larson is trying to push Dibiasse away but Dibiasse has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Larson is trying to push Dibiasse away but Dibiasse has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Dibiasse keeps control of Larson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

That's time! Dibiasse's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
