Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hopelite Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaboosh Schmoggenbogger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hopelite Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kaboosh Schmoggenbogger! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Schmoggenbogger on the side of the head. Thunder jabs Schmoggenbogger to the body, keeping him at a distance. A jab from Thunder misses. Schmoggenbogger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thunder! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Thunder bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Thunder passes into half guard. Schmoggenbogger pushes Thunder off looking to stand but Thunder dives back in and keeps control.
Schmoggenbogger is looking to control Thunder's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Schmoggenbogger avoid being mounted? Thunder slows the pace down in half guard. Thunder landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Schmoggenbogger can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schmoggenbogger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Thunder. Schmoggenbogger is trying to get back to full guard. Schmoggenbogger is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Thunder thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Schmoggenbogger's head. Thunder landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Schmoggenbogger won't allow Thunder to pass to mount. Schmoggenbogger is trying to stand back up but Thunder is controlling him
Thunder is trying to control. Schmoggenbogger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Thunder seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Schmoggenbogger on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Thunder thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Thunder is keen to just control but Schmoggenbogger is a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nice strikes from Thunder there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Schmoggenbogger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Thunder scores with a couple of nice shots. Schmoggenbogger won't allow Thunder to pass to mount. Thunder slips a nice elbow through Schmoggenbogger's hands, connecting with Schmoggenbogger's forehead. Thunder is keen to just control but Schmoggenbogger is a slippery customer. Thunder sitting and controlling from the half guard. Thunder wants to control but Schmoggenbogger is keeping him busy. Schmoggenbogger is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Thunder lands strikes from half guard.

Thunder looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Schmoggenbogger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Thunder content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Thunder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thunder connects with a nice short shot to Schmoggenbogger's temple. Thunder is trying to control. Schmoggenbogger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Thunder works his way into full mount! Thunder landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Schmoggenbogger's face.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thunder cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Thunder controlling from mount. Schmoggenbogger is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Thunder postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Schmoggenbogger looks a forlorn figure.
Schmoggenbogger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Thunder. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Thunder putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Thunder breaks from Schmoggenbogger's wrist control and lands an elbow. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Thunder lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Thunder in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Thunder landing strikes from the mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hopelite Thunder dominated that round. That's time! Thunder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Thunder connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Schmoggenbogger takes a jab right on the kisser.
Thunder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Schmoggenbogger sprawls well initially but Thunder persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Thunder is trying to control the action in half guard but Schmoggenbogger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Schmoggenbogger trying to hold on to Thunder's head to control him but Thunder postures up.
Thunder drops an elbow to the side of Schmoggenbogger's head. Schmoggenbogger tries to roll over but Thunder keeps him under control. Thunder has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Thunder with shots to the head and body - Schmoggenbogger looks very uncomfortable down there.
That's one minute gone in the round. BOOM! Thunder connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Thunder cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Thunder is landing with some decent strikes but Schmoggenbogger is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Schmoggenbogger is breathing heavily. Thunder lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Schmoggenbogger is rocked! Schmoggenbogger tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee warns Schmoggenbogger that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Schmoggenbogger seems to have recovered his senses. Thunder is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schmoggenbogger can do to turn this around? Schmoggenbogger takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Schmoggenbogger in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Thunder lands with some strikes. Thunder postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Schmoggenbogger out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Thunder goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
