The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madden tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Henderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Madden ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Henderson swats away the attempt to clinch by Madden.
Nice takedown defense from Madden. No joy for Henderson on that attempt.
Henderson shoots for a takedown but Madden saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Oooh a lovely combination from Madden sends Henderson down but not out. Madden dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Dan Henderson has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henderson is looking to reverse the position.

Madden decides to stand back up. Madden steps back and let's Henderson get back to his feet.
Madden is looking to clinch.
Madden connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Henderson! He's out on his feet! Madden rushes in and drops Henderson with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
