Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Maeda scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Maeda is looking to score with low kicks.
Maeda with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Vorenus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maeda lands with a kick to the ribs.

Vorenus will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Maeda throws a leg kick which misses Vorenus's front leg but catches the back leg as Vorenus tries to avoid it.
Vorenus steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Maeda. That one must have hurt.
Vorenus swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maeda lands a nice leg kick that just misses Vorenus's sensitive parts.
Lucious Vorenus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Maeda delivers a nice body kick.
Vorenus is breathing heavily.
Maeda lands with an uppercut that bounces Vorenus off the cage and back into range.
Maeda throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Maeda clobbers Vorenus with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Maeda scores with a leg kick.

Maeda throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Vorenus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maeda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vorenus. That did some damage!
A nice leg kick lands there from Maeda.
Maeda misses with a double jab.
Maeda explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Vorenus takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vorenus walks into a straight right hand from Maeda.
Maeda throws a nice outside leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Maeda finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Maeda lands with a nice body kick.
Maeda lands a nice looking kick to the body. Vorenus takes a step back to recover.

Vorenus takes an elbow to the temple.

Maeda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maeda connects with a body shot that sends Vorenus's belly button to the back.
Maeda chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Maeda lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Maeda throws a nice inside leg kick.
A slapping leg kick lands for Maeda.
Maeda lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Maeda dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Vorenus. That did some damage!
Maeda throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Vorenus on the side of the head.

Maeda gets a clinch.

Vorenus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Vorenus is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Maeda stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Maeda lands an elbow inside that Vorenus shrugs off.

Maeda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vorenus throws a left and a right that both miss
and Maeda counters with a low kick, right behind Vorenus 's knee.
An inside leg kick lands from Maeda.
Maeda lets loose with a powerful body kick. Vorenus will feel that in the morning.
A nice leg kick lands there from Maeda.
Maeda lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Maeda avoids a punch combination nicely.
Vorenus takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That kick from Maeda tenderised Vorenus's leg. Vorenus is trying to keep his angry face on.
Vorenus takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Maeda's jab looks to have found its range, popping Vorenus under the eye.
Vorenus takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Vorenus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Maeda can pounce on him.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Maeda, right into the meat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maeda darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Maeda lands a nice looking body kick.

Maeda fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Vorenus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Maeda lands a big head kick that sends Vorenus tumbling to the mat! Maeda takes a step backwards and waves Vorenus back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Maeda counters with an outside leg kick.
Oh Vorenus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Maeda throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Maeda. Vorenus shrugs it off though.
Maeda moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Maeda walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Vorenus drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Maeda swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Vorenus's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
