Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Carlgren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Flinta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flinta has chosen eye of the tiger as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlgren shoots in for a takedown but Flinta shows good takedown defense.

Flinta is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Carlgren gets his way!

Carlgren has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Flinta is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Robin Carlgren overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Carlgren is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Flinta can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Flinta's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
