The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silva drives through with a takedown into Tyler's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Silva gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tyler avoids the head kick by Silva.
Silva throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tyler.

It looks like Jake Tyler has been cut.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tyler looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Gregory Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tyler looks gassed!

Silva shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
BOOM! Silva connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Silva lands a nice shot to the head.
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks Tyler but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Tyler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
