Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DJ Dee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sandstorm by Darude. Masakazu Aoki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakazu Aoki!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dee walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like DJ Dee has been cut.

Aoki gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dee has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Aoki is trying to keep an underhook but Dee manages to get the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aoki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dee is one step ahead there.
Dee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Aoki seems keen to control Dee's posture.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Aoki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dee's guard.
Aoki postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dee seems to have got his legs back now.
Aoki postures up in Dee's guard and throws a big left but Dee blocks it.
Aoki connects with a couple of short punches.

Dee is breathing heavily.

Aoki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Dee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Aoki gets to his feet and stands over Dee, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Dee felt that one! Aoki unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Dee from any more punishment!
