Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Msciwoj Nojman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ralph Machio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nojman comes into the arena with Imindain - Black Water blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Machio gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Machio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Machio shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Nojman eats them both and turns towards Machio to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Machio rushes Nojman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Machio throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nojman blocks it with crossed arms.

Machio is fighting off a takedown attempt but Nojman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Machio to the mat. Machio regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Ralph Machio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nojman moves into range and clinches up with Machio.

Machio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nojman is pushing Machio up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Machio has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Nojman off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
No joy there for Machio, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nojman tries to keep at a distance but Machio has taken the fight into the clinch.

Machio connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Nojman momentarily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Nojman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Machio is breathing heavily.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Nojman cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Machio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nojman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nojman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Machio regains half guard there - taking advantage of Nojman's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Nojman is looking for a kimura but Machio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nojman to get the leverage.
