Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurosaki Ichigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ichigo is looking to clinch.

Miyagi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Keisuke Miyagi will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Ichigo decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Miyagi's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ichigo wants to get up but he can't break Miyagi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ichigo should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ichigo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miyagi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kurosaki Ichigo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Miyagi fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Ichigo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ichigo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Horrible takedown by Miyagi or perhaps it was just good defense by Ichigo which made him look bad.
Ichigo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ichigo wants it to stay on the feet.

Ichigo stalks Miyagi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Miyagi's face. Miyagi staggers backwards, shaken.

Miyagi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ichigo sprawls well. Ichigo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miyagi gets slowly back to his feet.

Well Ichigo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
