Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Cedenblad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Cannibal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magnus Cedenblad is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cannibal closes the distance and clinches up with Cedenblad, looking for a takedown. Cannibal pushes Cedenblad against the cage but Cedenblad circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cannibal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cedenblad tries to avoid it but Cannibal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cedenblad to the ground. Cedenblad escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Cedenblad counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Magnus Cedenblad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Cannibal.

Cannibal can't keep his opponent in guard - Cedenblad advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Cedenblad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cedenblad avoids the attempt from Cannibal to control.
Cannibal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cedenblad. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cannibal wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Cannibal is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cedenblad.
Cedenblad wants to control but Cannibal manages to buck him off and is now in Cedenblad's guard! Nice work there by Cannibal!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cannibal won't allow Cedenblad to get back to his feet.
Cannibal looking to sit in guard and control but Cedenblad gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We're going to have a standup here because Magnus Cedenblad wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Cedenblad bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cannibal looks to move to half guard but instead Cedenblad has passed into mount! Damn!

Cedenblad is looking for a kimura but Cannibal is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Cedenblad to get the leverage.
Cedenblad is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Cannibal wants to control but Cedenblad is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Cedenblad is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cannibal is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Cannibal content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cedenblad has locked up a guillotine! Cedenblad's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Cannibal is holding on here and Cedenblad must be using up a lot of energy. Cannibal has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cedenblad gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
