Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Corbett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aslam King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying King's choice of entrance music: DMX - Intro . Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Aslam King enters the cage!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Nathan Corbett!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Aslam King!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A combination from Corbett does no damage.
Corbett throws a sloppy head kick and King moves out of range easily.
Corbett will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

King fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Corbett, pushing him back against the cage.
Corbett tries to land a knee to the head but King blocks with his arms.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
King can't get the takedown.

King changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Corbett fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nathan Corbett.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Corbett, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
