Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flipper Gill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Rotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rotch's choice of entrance music: Im Gonna Win-Masterplan. Gill has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rotch misses with a combination
and Gill counters with a single leg into guard. Rotch didn't expect that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Gill trying to control the position from guard on top but Rotch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rotch stalks Gill and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gill's face. Gill staggers backwards, shaken.
Mike Rotch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rotch feints a jab promting Gill to slip. Rotch then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Gill slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rotch misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gill.
Rotch loads up on a big right hand but Gill slips the punch.
Rotch's corner calls for a 1-2. Rotch obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rotch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rotch throws a low kick, looking for Gill's leg but Gill calmly moves out of range.

Gill is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Rotch still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Rotch has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Rotch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gill has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rotch doesn't defend quickly enough and Gill has managed to lock this one up! Can Rotch escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Gill on a fantastic submission victory.
