The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talpata dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gibson scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Pesho Talpata has been cut.
Talpata uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Gibson.
Gibson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Talpata manages to avoid it.
Talpata throws a hook but Gibson blocks it.
Talpata fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Talpata lands a jab to the head.
Talpata shoots in but Gibson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Gibson tries to land a leg kick but Talpata saw it coming and moves away.
Gibson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Talpata misses with an uppercut. Gibson saw that one coming.
Good leg kick by Gibson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Robert Gibson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pesho Talpata.

Talpata on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gibson connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Talpata! He's out on his feet! Gibson rushes in and drops Talpata with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
