The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from La Motta.
A telegraphed right hand from Santos misses the target.
Santos shoots in for a double leg but La Motta sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
La Motta clinches up with Santos and pushes him back against the cage.
Santos has picked La Motta up - he's going for a ride! Santos dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Santos in particular looking to stall.
Santos maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! La Motta could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Santos has cracked it and La Motta is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Santos!
