The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maguire takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maguire throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Singlet.
Maguire really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Singlet throws a sloppy body shot
and Maguire counters with a left to the body.
Singlet throws a hook to the side of Maguire's head but Maguire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A telegraphed right hand from Singlet misses the target.
Singlet thows a body shot but no joy.
Maguire throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Singlet stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maguire stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Maguire wants it to stay on the feet.
Maguire paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Singlet misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Maguire jabs Singlet right on the nose. Singlet blinks but takes it well.

Singlet tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Maguire swivels and escapes.

Singlet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maguire moves away.

Singlet throws a series of punches but Maguire avoids them all with ease.

Maguire bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Singlet's head.
Maguire stuffs the takedown attempt from Singlet. Singlet gets slowly back to his feet.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Maguire, as that shot connected.
Singlet missing with a left hand there. Maguire was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Singlet is defended easily by Maguire.
Singlet looks gassed!
Singlet's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Maguire connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Singlet scrambles back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Maguire lands with a hook. Singlet tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
A jab from Maguire finds it's way through Singlet's defenses.

Singlet shoots in for a double leg but Maguire sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Singlet gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Maguire gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
