Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eli Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Madog Killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eli Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Madog Killer!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Killer shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Savage napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Savage tries to bench press Killer off him but Killer keeps the position.
Savage is working hard here to advance position.
Savage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Killer on the ground.

Killer tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Killer passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Savage!

Killer working for a guillotine from mount but Savage is in no mood to give up.
Savage is squirming around, avoiding Killer's attempts to control the action.
Savage is looking to get to half guard.
Killer trying to control but he's not successful this time.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Killer looking to control and managing it successfully.

Savage is looking to improve his position but Killer isn't that keen on the idea.
Savage on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Savage tries to get out of the position.

Killer is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Savage to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Savage shrugs it off.
Savage tries to hold on but Killer pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Killer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Savage keeps working.
Savage wants to stand back up but Killer manages to pass into side control.

Killer looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Killer working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Killer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Killer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Savage tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Killer has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Savage is working to get back to half guard.

Killer wants to finish this one by submission but Savage is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Killer.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Savage is trying desperately to improve position.

Killer tries to control but Savage wriggling away.
Savage is desperately trying to improve his position but Killer has a good base and remains in mount.

Savage bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Savage decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Killer walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Savage gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Savage looking to stall.
Killer tries for a takedown. No joy.
Savage gets through Killer's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Savage tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Savage is trying to maintain a safe position but Killer gets an underhook and turns Savage into the cage.
Savage doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Killer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Killer.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Killer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Savage uses from the top position.
Killer looks gassed!
Savage trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom.
Savage has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Killer is proving hard to escape from.
Killer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Savage lands a couple of digs.
Savage throws a strike but Killer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Savage wants to sweep but no luck.
Savage is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Killer trying to control but Savage is working from the bottom.
Savage is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Killer shoots in for a takedown but Savage shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Eli Savage has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Madog Killer.
A nice combination there by Savage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Savage moves into the clinch successfully.
Savage doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Savage misses with a hook from the clinch.
Savage misses with a body punch.
Savage tries to circle away but Killer has him pinned against the cage.
Killer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Savage walks away with a smile on his face. Killer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Killer slips a jab from Savage.
Savage throws a combination. Killer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Savage avoids a punch combination nicely.
Savage throws a shot from downtown. Killer moves away and avoids it.

That's nine minutes gone in the round.
Savage misses with a jab, cross combination.
Savage looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Savage misses with a wild body shot.

Savage closes the distance and clinches.
Savage tries to circle away but Killer has him pinned against the cage.
Killer avoiding damage as Savage throws knees to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Savage.
Savage is trying to break free.
Come on Killer - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Killer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Killer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Savage trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Eli Savage will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Savage darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Savage tries to bum rush Killer with a series of wild strikes but Killer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Killer closes this distance looking for a takedown but Savage circles away.
Savage falls off balance throwing a combination

and Killer counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Killer prevents Savage from standing back up.
Savage manages to get to full guard.
Savage keeping moving, preventing Killer from controlling successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Savage can't keep his opponent in guard - Killer advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Savage tries to get to full guard but Killer has control of the leg.

Killer is keen to just control but Savage is a slippery customer.
Savage tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Killer manages to move to mount!
Killer controlling the pace for now.
Killer tries to control but Savage wriggling away.

Savage trying desperately to get to his feet.
Killer prevents Savage from getting the reversal.

Killer working for a submission but Savage is keeping him at bay.

Killer has control of Savage's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Savage regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Killer trying to control but Savage is having none of it.
Savage working to try and regain half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Killer jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Savage manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Savage is trying to improve his position.
Killer trying to control the position but Savage is working away.
Killer might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Savage kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Killer is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Savage has escaped the position, nice work there.

Savage is looking to regain half guard here but Killer keeps moving and retains side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Killer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Savage keeps working.
Savage isn't going anywhere.
Killer wants to control for a moment but Savage uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Savage trying to control but Killer postures up.

Savage is staying active underneath Killer, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Killer is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Savage defends it well.
Savage wants to get back to his feet.
Killer is keen to just control but Savage is a slippery customer.
Killer looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Killer moves into full mount! Savage won't be happy about that!
Savage is in all sorts of trouble here.
Savage is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Killer looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Savage gets back to half guard.
Savage is trying to maintain the position but Killer is very close to passing his half guard.

Killer is looking for a kimura but Savage is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Killer to get the leverage.

Killer stops Savage from getting back to his feet.
Killer moves into full mount! Savage won't be happy about that!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Killer is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Killer extends the arm and Savage is forced to tap!
