Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scutelnic Mihai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mihai has chosen Tupac-Hit Em Up as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihai misses with a double jab.
Mihai tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rhodes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Rhodes gets caught flat footed, as Mihai shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Rhodes looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mihai trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rhodes's guard.
Rhodes could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Rhodes looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Mihai puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rhodes slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Mihai trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rhodes's guard.
Rhodes keeping moving, preventing Mihai from controlling successfully.
Rhodes has a closed guard, preventing Mihai from standing up.
Mihai trying to control but Rhodes is working from the bottom.

Rhodes is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Rhodes wants to sweep but no luck.

Scutelnic Mihai has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Mihai throws a quick inside leg kick.
Mihai throws a head kick but Rhodes moves out of range.

Rhodes closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Mihai quickly recovers to half guard.
Rhodes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mihai with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Rhodes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mihai on the ground.
Mihai looks gassed!
Rhodes slips a nice elbow through Mihai's hands, connecting with Mihai's forehead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mihai tries to roll over but Rhodes keeps him under control.
Rhodes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rhodes lands with a punch from half guard.
Rhodes lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Mihai quite badly. Mihai pulls Rhodes in close trying to recover. Rhodes postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Mihai on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Mihai doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
