Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Algimantas Butautas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Rock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butautas comes to the cage accompanied by AC/DC - Evil Walks. Rock has chosen J Rock - Freestyle as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jamie Rock has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butautas moves in looking to clinch but Rock pushes him off.
Butautas tries to clinch up.
Butautas looks to land a combination but Rock avoids it well.
Algimantas Butautas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Butautas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rock drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rock won't allow Butautas to get back to his feet.
Rock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rock wants to control from the top but Butautas keeps moving.
Butautas has Rock pulled in close to control his posture.

Rock is fighting to break Butautas's control of his arms but Butautas is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Rock trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Butautas does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Butautas bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rock's head.

and Rock decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Butautas's guard.
Rock advances to half guard.
Rock works his way into side control.
Butautas is trying to improve his position.
Butautas is breathing heavily.

Rock is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Butautas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Rock wants to lay and pray for a moment but Butautas keeps working.

Rock is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Butautas is looking for a sweep.
Butautas tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rock presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Butautas tries to lock up and control but Rock gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Butautas manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Rock is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Butautas!
Butautas tries to strike from the bottom but he's left himself exposed and Rock has taken his back.
Butautas tries to escape but Rock has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Butautas has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Rock has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Butautas! Can he survive? No! He's out! Rock gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
