Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Conrad Mesko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rey Corrales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mesko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pain !. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mesko drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Corrales tries to improve position but can't.
You can see the frustration on Corrales's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Corrales is pushing Mesko's head away, looking to escape. Mesko manages to hold on to the position though.
Corrales seems a little lost for a moment, as Mesko dominates the positioning.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Corrales has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mesko is working away from the top position though.
Mesko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Corrales does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mesko lands a nice short elbow.
