Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brett Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammad El Sayed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). El Sayed is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Stand Up by Trapt. Brett Davids has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brett Davids! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mohammad El Sayed! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from El Sayed does it's job there. El Sayed throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Davids uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before El Sayed has time to react. A punch lands to the side of El Sayed 's head but he takes it in his stride. El Sayed tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Davids displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as El Sayed throws out the jab. Davids on the wrong end of a nice jab. A head kick misses from El Sayed. Donk. Davids catches El Sayed right on the button with a cross. Mohammad El Sayed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. El Sayed feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davids's calf. El Sayed circles away from the clinch attempt.

Davids takes the fight into the clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Davids misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from El Sayed.

That's one minute gone in the round. A short left from Davids. El Sayed tries a knee to the head but Davids blocks it.
El Sayed is looking to control Davids's arms but Davids gets an underhook and turns him. Now El Sayed has his back to the cage. Davids lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. El Sayed managing to block the knees to the body from Davids.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Davids blocks an elbow strike from El Sayed.
Davids dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davids connects with a knee to the head.
Davids escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Davids moves into the clinch. El Sayed unloads a knee to the mid-section. Davids lands a nice shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davids manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
El Sayed trying to control the position but instead, Davids has worked for underhooks and has pushed El Sayed into the cage. Davids's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. El Sayed throws a head kick but Davids moves out of range.

Davids with a nice cross. El Sayed looks to land a right hand but Davids moved out of range. Davids tries to close the distance and clinch but El Sayed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. El Sayed throws the left hand but Davids avoids the punch easily. The fighters circle momentarily. Davids darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. El Sayed tries to keep at a distance but Davids has taken the fight into the clinch. El Sayed blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. El Sayed misses with a shot to the kidneys.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davids breaks the clinch.

El Sayed takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. El Sayed looks gassed! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Davids blocks the body kick.
Davids instigates a clinch. Davids throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Davids pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brett Davids dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Davids closes the distance and clinches. Davids lands a nice knee to the body. Davids is leaning against El Sayed and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. A battle for position here, against the cage. Davids breaks the clinch.
El Sayed fails with an attempt to clinch.
Davids dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Davids lands a head shot. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Davids gets in close and instigates a clinch. Davids working El Sayed over with knees to the body. Davids is struggling to control the position. A right hook to the body lands for Davids.
Davids putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has El Sayed in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. El Sayed is breathing heavily. Davids breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Davids blocks a head kick by El Sayed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davids moves into the clinch. Davids pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Davids is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Davids avoids the head kick by El Sayed.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Davids scores a nice knee to the body.

Davids is working El Sayed over against the cage. Davids lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt El Sayed or not. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Davids landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Davids cracks El Sayed on the chin with a massive knee to the head! He's been separated from consciousness before he even hits the floor! Absolutely fantastic knee and a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Brett Davids! Brett Davids decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
