The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Viking circles away.
Rampage shoots in looking for a takedown. Viking tries to sprawl out of it but Rampage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Viking manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rampage tries to clinch up.

Viking manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rampage on his heels. He'll look to pass Rampage's guard now, I'm sure.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Viking lands a couple of digs.
Viking slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Viking keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rampage's head.

Viking instigates a clinch.

Viking breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Rampage tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Viking smiles and moves away.

Viking is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rampage is surviving well by controlling Viking's body position as best he can.
Rampage knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Viking on the ground.
Viking lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Viking is riding his opponent, not letting Rampage buck him off.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Viking is hanging on to Rampage's back as he tries to escape.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Viking throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Viking shoots for a takedown but Rampage saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ramirez Rampage is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Viking slaps away a takedown attempt from Rampage, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Viking tries to clinch there but Rampage circles away.
Viking throws a series of punches but Rampage avoids them all with ease.

Viking closes the distance and pushes Rampage back into the cage.

Rampage got a little sloppy there for a moment and Viking has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rampage has managed to get both his arms back between Viking's legs - danger averted.
Rampage has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Viking lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rampage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
